Assistant Manager Planning

About the role

CCL Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Assistant Manager Planning to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations at its Sundar Plant. You will be responsible for aligning production schedules with market demand, material availability, and plant capacity, supporting the company’s mission to deliver trusted healthcare solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules using rolling forecasts, stock levels, and capacity data.
• Coordinate raw material and packaging material availability across functional teams.
• Monitor work‑in‑process batches and stock coverage to guarantee timely product availability.
• Support batch planning, product transfers from Plant‑62, and capacity‑enhancement initiatives.
• Participate in debottlenecking, batch scale‑up, lead‑time optimization, and operational‑efficiency projects.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, R&D, Warehouse, and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in production planning and supply‑chain operations.
• Education equivalent to 16 years from an HEC‑recognized institute.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data.
• Knowledge of inventory categorization and stock‑management principles.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SAP PP and SAP MM modules.
