About the role

Riphah International University seeks an Assistant Professor of Psychology to join its Lahore campus. The role combines teaching, research, and student mentorship, supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes while contributing to the department’s academic development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses, preparing lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials.
• Utilise innovative teaching techniques and educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assess and monitor student performance, providing timely feedback and academic advising.
• Conduct rigorous research, publish in national and international journals, and present findings at conferences.
• Supervise student research projects and theses, offering methodological guidance and mentorship.
• Participate in curriculum design, quality enhancement initiatives, and accreditation activities.
• Contribute to departmental, faculty, and university committees and support outreach events such as seminars and workshops.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent qualification in Psychology.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publications.
• Experience supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
• Commitment to academic mentorship and continuous quality improvement.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of psychological theories and research methodologies.
• Understanding of ethical research practices.
• Familiarity with educational technologies for course delivery.
