CS Core Engineer – Ericsson Network Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a skilled CS Core Engineer with hands‑on experience in Ericsson core network solutions. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, optimizing, and implementing circuit‑switched (CS) core network elements to ensure high availability and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Ericsson CS core elements such as MSC Server, MGW, HLR/HSS, and STP.
• Monitor network performance, conduct health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults, alarms, and service‑impacting issues.
• Support integration, migration, upgrade, and expansion projects.
• Analyze KPIs and recommend optimization measures.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with operational and service‑level requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in CS core network operations and support.
• Hands‑on experience with Ericsson CS core platforms.

Required skills

• Ericsson MSC Server, MGW, HLR/HSS, STP.
• SS7, SIGTRAN, MAP, ISUP, Diameter protocols.
• Fault management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Network integration and migration activities.
• Understanding of telecom network architecture and voice services.
