Data Architect – Design & Manage Enterprise Data Solutions

About the role

As a Data Architect at Creative Chaos you will lead the design, construction and ongoing management of the company’s data architecture. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and high‑performance data solutions that support analytics and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop logical and physical data models, database schemas and data‑mapping specifications.
• Define data integration, migration and ETL strategies across on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Optimize database performance, ensure scalability and implement data governance, quality and security standards.
• Stay current with emerging data‑management technologies and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline.
• 8‑10 years of experience as a Data Architect or in a comparable role.
• Proven experience with Apache, Cloudera and data analysis projects.
• Strong background in designing data warehouses, data models and data mapping.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Data modeling and database design.
• SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL.
• Data integration and ETL techniques.
• Data governance and data‑quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
