DevOps Engineer / Server Administrator (Mid‑Level, Night Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level DevOps Engineer / Server Administrator to take full ownership of our server infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The position is night‑shift, part‑time and based onsite in Lahore, offering the chance to work with both Linux and Windows environments while driving automation and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Handle application deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor system performance, ensure high availability and maximum uptime.
• Administer cloud resources on platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure or GCP.
• Configure and maintain web servers (NGINX, Apache).
• Implement security measures, backup strategies and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot server, hosting and application‑level issues.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to enable smooth releases.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of proven experience in DevOps or server administration.
• Strong expertise with Linux systems; experience with Windows Server is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with monitoring tools and scripting in Bash or Python.
