Ecommerce Content Manager (Alibaba & Shopify)

About the role

Our client Texas Lab Technologies is seeking an Ecommerce Content Manager to lead the creation and optimisation of product listings on Alibaba, Shopify and other online marketplaces. The role is remote and focuses on boosting product visibility, customer engagement and sales through strategic, data‑driven content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for Alibaba, Shopify and additional ecommerce platforms.
• Write, edit and optimise clear, persuasive product descriptions that align with brand voice and platform SEO requirements.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify content gaps and differentiation opportunities.
• Manage product listing optimisation, including keyword integration, feature highlights and compliance with platform guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and product teams to gather accurate information and support promotional campaigns.
• Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data‑driven insights.
• Maintain consistency and timely updates across all ecommerce content.
• Stay up‑to‑date with ecommerce trends, platform updates and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in ecommerce content management.
• Strong copywriting abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven understanding of ecommerce marketplaces and product listing optimisation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
