Electrical Design Engineer – R&D

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Electrical Design Engineer to join our R&D team at Accurate Pvt, Ltd’s manufacturing facility. The role focuses on testing, evaluating and validating digital energy meters against national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed functional, environmental, accuracy, mechanical and electrical tests on energy meters according to WAPDA, IEC and ANSI specifications.
• Analyze meter performance under varying load, voltage and environmental conditions and validate firmware and hardware.
• Collaborate with product development to identify issues, propose solutions and support the transition from prototype to production‑ready units.
• Document test results, prepare technical reports and maintain accurate testing records for quality assurance.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment such as reference meters, test benches, oscilloscopes, power analyzers and environmental chambers.
• Work closely with firmware, hardware, quality and production teams to resolve technical issues and provide guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (B.E./BS).
• 1‑2 years of experience in electrical measurement, testing or energy‑meter development.
• Strong understanding of power systems and metering standards (WAPDA, IEC, ANSI).
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
