Electrical Design Engineer (R&D)

About the role

Accurate Pvt, Ltd is looking for a full‑time Electrical Design Engineer (R&D) to work on‑site at its Sundar Estates factory. The role focuses on testing, evaluating and validating energy meters against WAPDA, national and international standards while supporting product development.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed testing and validation of energy meters according to WAPDA, IEC and ANSI specifications, covering functional, environmental, accuracy, mechanical and electrical performance.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to identify issues, propose solutions and validate design changes, helping move prototypes to production‑ready status.
• Document test results, prepare technical reports, corrective‑action recommendations and maintain accurate testing records.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as reference meters, test benches, oscilloscopes, power analyzers and environmental chambers, ensuring proper calibration and safety.
• Work closely with firmware, hardware, quality and production teams to resolve issues and provide technical guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical measurement, power systems or energy‑meter testing.
• Familiarity with WAPDA, IEC and ANSI metering standards.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
