Executive Engineering Support (Auto Electrician)

About the role

The Executive Engineering Support (Auto Electrician) is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems of heavy equipment and cranes at our Port Qasim facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform battery replacement, charging, inspection, testing and maintenance following SOPs and safety requirements.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair alternators/dynamos and self‑starter motors on cranes and other heavy equipment.
• Support preventive, corrective, predictive and condition‑monitoring maintenance activities.
• Diagnose electrical starting and charging system faults and execute corrective actions.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, component repairs and spare parts usage.

Required profile

• Diploma/DAE in Electrical, Electronics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with heavy equipment, crane and automotive electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of equipment functionality, maintenance procedures, workshop practices and safety requirements.

Required skills

• Battery systems handling and testing.
• Alternator/dynamo repair and overhaul.
• Starter motor installation and troubleshooting.
• Electrical fault diagnosis.
• Use of electrical testing equipment and diagnostic software.
