About the role

Dhaga is seeking a creative, trend‑driven Fashion Designer who specializes in contemporary Eastern wear and Gen Z fashion. The role involves turning market trends into original, wearable collections that reflect Dhaga’s distinct brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Design contemporary Eastern wear, including co‑ords, kurtas, kaftans, and occasion pieces.
• Develop fresh Gen Z cuts, silhouettes, and styling concepts.
• Research local and international fashion trends and create mood boards.
• Produce sketches, complete collection concepts, and embroidery layouts.
• Select fabrics, trims, embellishments, and finishing details.
• Coordinate with pattern makers, sampling, embroidery, and production teams.
• Conduct fittings, refine cuts, lengths, and garment proportions.
• Style complete looks for campaigns, shoots, and product launches.
• Balance creativity with wearability, pricing, and commercial demand.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Gen Z fashion and contemporary Pakistani wear.
• Excellent knowledge of cuts, garment construction, fabrics, and fitting.
• Practical knowledge of embroidery techniques, motifs, and placements.
• Strong fashion illustration and technical drawing abilities.
• Previous experience with a women’s fashion brand is preferred.
• Portfolio showcasing original designs is mandatory.
