About the role
The Food Safety Instructor will join COTHM in Islamabad to deliver comprehensive food safety and hygiene education to college students. This role focuses on practical training, ensuring learners understand safe food handling, personal hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons on food safety, hygiene, and sanitation to college‑level students.
- Demonstrate proper food preparation, handling, storage, and cleaning procedures.
- Explain sources of food contamination and effective prevention strategies.
- Teach fundamental concepts of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to reinforce best practices.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience teaching or training adults in a culinary or hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical information clearly.
