About the role

The Grid Manager will drive revenue growth and business development across a defined telecom grid, overseeing sales, channel expansion, and network utilization. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on market execution to maximise 3G/4G and mobile broadband performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Increase 3G/4G and handset sales by launching new smartphone shops and upgrading existing retailers.
  • Ensure quality of gross additions for 3G/4G services and meet channel expansion targets (SIM sales, VAS, MNP, MBB, ECATs, postpaid).
  • Manage end‑to‑end customer complaint handling, CSI monitoring and overall customer experience at franchise locations.
  • Coordinate trade marketing activities, BTL promotions, brand visibility and special events within the grid.
  • Identify untapped territories, guide BDOs on sales routing and submit accurate forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards and recharge products.
  • Train and supervise staff and retailers, ensure stock availability and compliance with SOPs, targets and promotions.
  • Maintain POS material availability and collaborate with technical teams to optimise network resources and site utilization.

Required profile

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university; MBA preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in telecom sales, channel development or related business development roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales KPIs and managing retail networks.

Required skills

  • Strong sales knowledge and business acumen.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to analyse market data and develop actionable sales forecasts.
