Head of Internal Audit

About the role

FullCircle Consulting is running a confidential executive search for a Head of Internal Audit on behalf of a leading diversified industrial group based in Lahore. The client is looking for an accomplished Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, corporate governance and financial controls, preferably in a large manufacturing or industrial organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the internal audit function, including annual risk-based audit planning, execution and reporting.
• Oversee financial, operational and compliance audits.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance frameworks and risk management processes.
• Lead special audits, fraud investigations and process improvement initiatives.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
• Ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
• Lead, mentor and develop the internal audit team.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in finance and internal audit.
• CA articles completed in 2007 or earlier.
• Demonstrated experience leading an internal audit function.
• Strong exposure to corporate governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Experience in large manufacturing or industrial organisations preferred.

• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
