IBG Marketing and Communications Manager

About the role

The IBG Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns for the International Banking Group (IBG) segment, driving awareness of capabilities and supporting direct‑to‑customer conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and launch marketing campaigns for the IBG segment to increase scope of work and generate new contacts.
• Manage a comprehensive marketing plan and workflow aligned with IBG/CIBG and brand strategies.
• Organise Customer, Industry and Thought‑Leadership events for IBG locations and product teams.
• Oversee external sponsorships and partnerships.
• Draft and edit content for all owned and paid marketing channels.
• Collaborate with the CX team to support customer‑centric initiatives.
• Design, develop and implement a social‑media strategy for product marketing teams.
• Maintain IBG digital touchpoints and marketing assets, ensuring content is up‑to‑date.
• Work closely with Mashreq’s Branding, Digital, Social Media, Website and PR teams.
• Brief and manage creative agencies for promotional adverts, EDMs, videos and digital creative assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience preparing and managing multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events and sponsorship programmes.
• Experience drafting and editing marketing content across various channels.
• Strong collaboration skills with CX, branding, digital, social media, website and PR functions.
• Experience briefing and managing external creative agencies.
