Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software applications. You will collaborate with web developers and other engineers throughout the full development lifecycle, from initial design to final testing.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to define project goals and requirements.
• Analyze system and user requirements and design integration workflows.
• Write clean, scalable Java code and develop Java‑based user interfaces.
• Design database architecture and create supporting schemas.
• Test, debug, and validate functionality and security of applications.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and concurrency.
• Experience with Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with MVC, JDBC and popular web frameworks (e.g., Play, Spark).
