Junior Accountant – Remote (Karachi)

About the role

Power Accounting is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support its financial operations remotely. You will handle daily accounting tasks, prepare financial records, and assist senior accountants with audits while working from a dedicated home office.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial reports.
• Assist in preparing corporate and personal tax returns.
• Maintain accounting records for business clients and coordinate with other departments.
• Support audit processes under senior supervision.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in accounting, tax, or payroll functions.
• Accounting graduate; candidates pursuing a Master of Commerce or ACCA are preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (minimum 2‑3 years hands‑on experience).
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
