L1 Support Engineer – DevOps

About the role

We are seeking an L1 Support Engineer with exposure to DevOps to help maintain stable production and staging environments. The role involves day‑to‑day technical operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting while collaborating with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor applications, servers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Handle L1 support tickets, resolve issues or escalate as needed.
• Troubleshoot Linux servers, networking, and deployment problems.
• Watch logs, alerts, and incidents to proactively identify system issues.
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities under senior guidance.
• Support Docker/containerized environments and basic cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Coordinate with development teams for bug tracking and resolution.
• Maintain documentation for incidents, fixes, and operational procedures.
• Participate in shift rotations or on‑call support when required.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in technical support, system support, or DevOps support.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix command‑line operations.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to Docker and container concepts.
• Fundamental knowledge of networking (DNS, IP, SSL, ports).
• Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow in DevOps and cloud operations.
