About the role

We are seeking a remote Legal Expert to support a leading technology platform that connects freelancers with micro‑task opportunities. The part‑time position involves providing legal guidance on platform policies, compliance, and dispute resolution across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements to ensure legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to micro‑tasking operations, including data privacy and labor regulations.
• Assess cross‑border transaction risks and manage intellectual property dispute mitigation.
• Support the handling of user disputes and respond to platform‑related legal inquiries.
• Monitor and interpret evolving laws affecting gig‑economy platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws in multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
