Legal Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis, supporting a global leader in software development and IT consulting. The specialist will ensure that all legal documentation aligns with applicable laws and regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts, agreements and other legal documents to identify risks and ensure compliance.
• Provide clear, actionable legal advice on regulatory and contractual matters to internal stakeholders.
• Draft and revise legal texts such as terms of service, privacy policies and disclaimer statements.
• Assess potential legal implications of business decisions and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with product, operations and other cross‑functional teams to address legal concerns throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review, drafting and compliance assessment.
• Strong knowledge of data protection legislation, intellectual property rights and corporate governance.
• Ability to interpret complex legal terminology and translate it into practical guidance.
• Familiarity with industry‑specific regulations and standards relevant to technology and IT services.
• Excellent analytical reasoning and meticulous attention to detail.
