Mechanical Engineer – AI Content Reviewer (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our expert network as a remote, hourly contractor. You will evaluate AI‑generated engineering solutions, create high‑quality explanations, and help improve the reasoning of leading AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Review and rate AI‑generated mechanical engineering responses for accuracy, clarity, and methodological soundness.
• Identify conceptual or computational errors, fact‑check assumptions, and ensure unit and dimensional consistency.
• Write concise, step‑by‑step explanations and model solutions that guide AI learning.
• Develop prompts and reference content to enrich AI training datasets.
• Compare multiple AI outputs and provide feedback to enhance model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Physics.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, applied physics, engineering mathematics, and system modeling.
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions with high attention to detail and to communicate reasoning clearly in writing.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency.
• Self‑directed, reliable, and comfortable working across time zones in a remote contractor workflow.
• Prior experience with AI data annotation or technical review is strongly preferred.
