Procurement Specialist – Supply Chain

About the role

The Procurement Specialist supports the sourcing and purchasing of technical goods and services required by Weatherford. You will ensure materials and services are obtained from approved suppliers that meet operational demand, technical specifications, quality standards, and commercial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with HSE, Quality, Security, Compliance, and SOX policies.
• Review purchase requisitions, obtain quotations, conduct competitive bidding, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Convert approved requisitions into accurate Purchase Orders, monitor order status, and close POs in ERP systems.
• Monitor supplier on‑time delivery performance and resolve supply issues using MRP/DRP planning tools.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, support working‑capital improvement, and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven procurement, supply‑chain, and supplier‑management experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Ability to manage procurement cycle times, PO accuracy, and on‑time delivery performance.
• Strong analytical skills to identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
