Project Manager (Lahore)

About the role

Abacus is looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead client projects in Lahore. The role involves overseeing projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables; create detailed plans with timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Drive day‑to‑day project execution, monitor progress, manage risks and report status using project management tools.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, provide regular updates and manage expectations.
• Bridge technical and non‑technical stakeholders, understand software development, IT systems or engineering processes and address technical risks.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed, conduct post‑project evaluations and prepare closure documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on project management experience with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership and analytical abilities.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a strong plus.
