Remote Kotlin Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a remote Kotlin Engineer to join SME Careers’ expert network. The role involves reviewing AI‑generated responses, creating high‑quality Kotlin‑focused content, and evaluating the reasoning behind each solution. Although there is no immediate project, qualified engineers will be contacted for future paid assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training prompts and detailed Kotlin‑centric responses to improve model understanding.
• Evaluate, rank, and rate AI‑generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and adherence to prompts.
• Identify methodological errors, fact‑check technical information, and suggest improvements.
• Test AI models for biases or inaccuracies and ensure reliability across use cases.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on Kotlin development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin null safety, coroutines, and functional idioms.
• Professional experience building Android apps or backend services with Kotlin.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent English writing skills (C1 level) and ability to explain complex technical concepts.
