Research and Sourcing Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Recruit AI is seeking a highly motivated Research and Sourcing Specialist to work remotely. You will conduct market and competitor research, identify manufacturers and suppliers, and manage sourcing activities that support product development and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed market, competitor, product and commercial research to inform strategy.
• Identify and engage manufacturers, suppliers, laboratories, consultants and partners.
• Prepare and distribute RFQs, compare quotations, MOQs, lead times and terms.
• Coordinate sample testing, documentation, certifications and product specifications.
• Conduct Amazon and e‑commerce marketplace research for pricing and positioning insights.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking deadlines, dependencies and follow‑ups.
• Anticipate risks, propose solutions and ensure accurate reporting from trusted sources.
• Document meeting outcomes and compile concise research findings for leadership review.

Required profile

• Strong analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and independent project‑management skills.
• Comfortable communicating with international partners and adapting to UK business hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI research tools, including ChatGPT.
• Experience using e‑commerce platforms for market analysis.
