Senior Design Engineer

About the role

National Development Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join its Islamabad office. The role focuses on delivering reliable, cost‑effective, and sustainable power designs across renewable sources such as solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and geothermal, combined with storage and smart management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of engineering solutions for renewable power projects.
• Conduct in‑depth technical analysis and produce comprehensive documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Utilise advanced Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software for product development.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, ISO quality requirements, and client specifications.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of design experience on hydropower projects.
• Proven expertise in design engineering for renewable energy systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools and software.
• Hydropower project design.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and regulatory compliance.
