Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with over six years of hands‑on experience to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role collaborates closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performance delivery of enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for build, test and deployment.
• Manage and optimise cloud environments across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
• Deploy, orchestrate and monitor containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and performance‑tuning solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk).
• Maintain source‑control strategies, branching models and release workflows.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and production incidents.
• Develop backup, disaster‑recovery and system‑recovery procedures.
• Document architecture, processes and operational best practices.
• Continuously improve automation, DevOps processes and overall efficiency.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional DevOps or infrastructure‑automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps) are a strong plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and large‑scale production systems.

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Bamboo.
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
• IaC: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Linux/Unix administration, Bash and Python scripting.
• Version control: Git, branching strategies.
• Networking, security concepts, load balancing and scaling.
• Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, Splunk.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and DevSecOps principles.
