Senior Frontend Developer – React/Next.js (v15)

About the role

WhizPay.io is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to lead the creation of high‑performance user interfaces for its fintech payment platform. You will work in a hybrid setting from DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend solutions using React and Next.js v15.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, performant UI components.
• Apply best‑practice coding standards, performance optimisation, and maintainability guidelines.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Stay current with frontend trends and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote technical excellence.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience, focused on React and Next.js (v15 preferred).
• Strong grasp of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL, and third‑party services.
• Familiarity with SSR, SSG, and performance‑optimization techniques in Next.js.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup.
