Senior Litigation Lawyer – Civil, Property & Family Law

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Karachi requires a seasoned litigator to act as the trusted representative for an overseas client. You will appear in court, handle government offices, and keep the client informed throughout civil, property, and family matters.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the client in District Courts and the High Court of Sindh, handling civil suits, injunctions, appeals, and enforcement actions.
• Conduct title investigations, due diligence, and dispute resolution for real‑estate and property cases, including landlord‑tenant matters.
• Appear before Family Courts for divorce, maintenance, custody, inheritance, and succession issues.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, legal opinions, memoranda, and litigation funding documents.
• Coordinate with external counsel, junior advocates, and local authorities; maintain organized case files and manage court fees and disbursements.

Required profile

• LLB (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; bar admission in Pakistan preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of active litigation practice in Karachi, especially in property and family law.
• Strong knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure, Transfer of Property Act, Family Courts Act, and related Sindh legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Urdu (Sindhi a plus).
• Own office or chamber in Karachi with reliable internet and phone access.
