Senior Outsystems Developer

About the role

We Work Worldwide is seeking a Senior Outsystems Developer to join its Lahore team. The role is full‑time and hybrid, allowing part‑time remote work. You will design, develop and maintain scalable applications on the Outsystems low‑code platform, guiding projects from requirements through deployment and support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using Outsystems.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Integrate Outsystems applications with external systems and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Review and optimise existing Outsystems applications, conduct code reviews and create reusable components.
• Ensure performance, security and reliability standards are met.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to agile ceremonies.
• Continuously improve development processes and delivery quality.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in the Outsystems platform, including web and mobile development, data modelling and reusable modules.
• Solid foundation in software engineering fundamentals such as object‑oriented design, API integration, SQL database design and version control (Git).
• Experience with performance optimisation, troubleshooting and secure, scalable solutions.
• Proven experience working in agile environments with sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Ability to gather requirements, produce technical designs and communicate concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring developers and promoting coding standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Outsystems certifications (Associate/Professional) and consulting or multi‑client experience are a plus.
