Senior Power BI Developer – Remote (UAE Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑level reporting and analytics for our clients. This full‑time, remote position works on UAE business hours (10 AM‑7 PM) and combines hands‑on development with client‑facing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards from requirement gathering to production.
• Create robust data models, applying star‑schema design and relationship management.
• Write clean, performant DAX measures and explain complex calculations to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain semantic models that serve multiple reports.
• Optimize report and model performance for large data volumes.
• Apply consistent naming, documentation, and version‑control standards.
• Lead client requirement sessions, present findings, and manage end‑to‑end engagements.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce technical standards across the team.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience building Power BI solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong DAX expertise with the ability to explain complex measures.
• Proven data‑modeling skills, including star‑schema and semantic model design.
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience with multiple data sources.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, datasets, refresh, deployment, row‑level security).
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to clients.
