Senior Telecom Software Engineer (5G Core, IMS, SIP/VoIP, Go)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Telecom Software Engineer to help build and scale a next‑generation wireless telecom platform. As one of the first engineering hires, you will shape the core telecom infrastructure, design scalable backend systems, and influence the overall technical architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop LTE/5G core network components.
• Build and optimise IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) infrastructure.
• Develop telecom services using SIP, RTP, Diameter, and SS7 protocols.
• Implement scalable backend services and APIs.
• Create orchestration layers linking telecom systems, eSIM provisioning platforms, and internal services.
• Develop customer‑facing self‑service portals and management dashboards.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend focus.
• Hands‑on experience with Rust or Go.
• Proven experience building distributed systems and microservices.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and telecom protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving startup environment.
