SST / PST Teacher

About the role

The Usman Public School System, founded in 1989 and now operating 53 campuses with more than 25,500 students, is hiring a full-time, on-site SST / PST teacher in Karachi. The school emphasises Islamic moral values and basic ethics alongside high academic standards, and teachers join a large, mission-driven network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, teach in the classroom, assess student performance and give constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging learning environment.
• Support students' academic and moral development in line with the school's values.
• Take part in staff meetings, collaborate with colleagues, attend training sessions and engage with parents and guardians about student progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is preferred.
• Experience teaching at primary or secondary level, ideally in a values-based or faith-informed school.
• Strong foundation in education and teaching, with knowledge of the curriculum and age-appropriate pedagogy.
• Commitment to Islamic moral values, basic ethics and the school's code of conduct.
