STEM Researcher – Remote AI Evaluation

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified STEM Researcher to work remotely on full‑time basis. You will design and solve challenging STEM problems that test the limits of large language models, producing clear, step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve advanced STEM problems to evaluate large language models.
• Create high‑quality, step‑by‑step solution guides with well‑articulated reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problems with evaluation goals, focusing on abstraction, multi‑step reasoning, and symbolic manipulation.
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks covering physics curricula from early undergraduate to PhD‑level topics.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analytical capabilities and support future‑proof career growth.

Required profile

• Strong analytical background in STEM at graduate or PhD level (engineering entrance exam or higher).
• Ability to break down complex concepts into clear, simple explanations.
• Creative and lateral thinking to address novel challenges.
• Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
• Self‑motivated, independent worker with reliable computer and internet access.
