Technical Sales & Proposal Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales & Proposal Manager to lead the end‑to‑end tendering process for engineering projects. The role will drive bid strategy, coordinate technical and commercial inputs, and ensure timely, high‑quality submissions that win business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals, tenders and bids.
• Review RFQs/RFPs, develop bid strategies, pricing approaches and proposal structures.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities, cost estimates and pricing models in collaboration with engineering, procurement and operations.
• Coordinate internal technical, design and operations teams and external vendors for quotations.
• Support contract negotiations, attend client pre‑bid meetings and technical discussions.
• Identify new tender opportunities, maintain proposal templates and databases, and analyse lost bids for improvement.
• Mentor and manage the proposal/estimation team, allocate tenders and monitor timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in proposals, tendering, estimation or technical sales within engineering, EPC, MEP, oil & gas or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven ability to manage full proposal lifecycle and deliver competitive yet profitable bids.
