Truck Dispatch & Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Truck Dispatch & Sales Coordinator ensures the smooth movement of goods by coordinating drivers, managing delivery schedules, and supporting the sales team. This position is based in Lahore and plays a key part in aligning logistics operations with customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch trucks for timely, cost‑effective deliveries.
• Communicate dispatch instructions to drivers and resolve any issues on the road.
• Maintain and update driver schedules to meet customer demand and optimise routes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing delivery updates and handling inquiries.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align delivery plans with sales forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for all dispatch activities.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and generate required reports.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives to increase dispatch efficiency.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or transportation is a plus.
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make quick decisions.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using dispatch software.
