About the role
The Underwriter will assess credit risk for e‑commerce merchants, reviewing financial and transactional data to determine appropriate credit limits and terms. Working on‑site in Multan, you will collaborate with sales, operations and finance teams to balance business growth with sound risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze client applications and verify supporting documentation.
- Evaluate repayment capacity and set credit limits and terms.
- Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor existing portfolios, identify early‑warning indicators and recommend mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support process improvements and policy updates.
Required profile
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret financial statements and cash flows.
- Knowledge of credit underwriting principles and risk assessment frameworks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field; certifications a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet time‑sensitive deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
- Basic financial analysis tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Experience with underwriting systems (advantageous).
