Accountant – US Experience (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring for a client to fill a contract Accountant position focused on US accounting experience. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and supporting month‑end close processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proficiency in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with month‑end close processes and reconciliation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance requirements for US‑based entities.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
