About the role

Our client Finior Financials is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support the accounting department. The internship offers hands‑on experience with financial tasks and exposure to tax preparation in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Assist in preparing and organizing tax documents under senior supervision.
• Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track financial data.
• Verify invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents for accuracy.
• Collaborate with accounting staff to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Prepare preliminary financial reports and summaries for review.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing processes by gathering data.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Enter data while safeguarding confidential financial information.
• Conduct basic analysis of financial records as directed.
• Maintain orderly electronic and paper filing systems for financial documents.
• Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance accounting knowledge.

Required profile

• At least 16 years of education in business or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Eagerness to learn and develop practical accounting competencies.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
