Accounting Manager – Remote (Work from Home)

About the role

MAVI is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead end‑to‑end accounting operations for US‑based clients. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere while collaborating directly with US Controllers, CFOs, and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Record‑to‑Report process for multiple US clients, including month‑, quarter‑, and year‑end closes.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Serve as the primary client contact, building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Drive process automation, workflow improvements, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate interactions with external auditors.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring accounting teams.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with a partial US time‑zone overlap.
