AI Trainer – Remote LLM Function Call Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an AI Trainer to help a leading technology client improve large language models through high‑quality, proprietary data generation. The role focuses on designing multi‑turn conversations where AI assistants use function‑calling tools to achieve user goals, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic multi‑turn dialogues that simulate user interactions with AI assistants using tools such as calendar, email, maps, and drive.
• Play both user and assistant roles, including triggering appropriate tool calls and correcting them when needed.
• Determine optimal moments for tool usage to maintain logical flow and correct function‑call execution.
• Write dialogues that showcase natural language, intelligent behavior, and contextual understanding across several turns.
• Iterate on conversation examples based on feedback to enhance realism and training value.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and data generation.
• Experience designing multi‑turn dialogues and simulating natural language interactions.
• Ability to emulate AI assistant behavior, including tool usage and function calls.
• Familiarity with formatting guidelines and quality standards for training data.
• Strong attention to detail to produce coherent and realistic interactions.
