API Management Developer (Axway & Kubernetes)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced API Management Developer to design, build, and maintain API services using Axway API Gateway and Manager. The role combines development, infrastructure, and DevOps responsibilities, focusing on cloud‑native deployments in Kubernetes environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement APIs with Axway API Gateway (v7 or Amplify), creating proxies, policies, and flows.
• Secure APIs using OAuth2, JWT, API keys, mutual TLS and related protocols.
• Deploy and manage Axway API Gateway and Manager on Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, or on‑prem), using Helm charts, manifests, and operators.
• Implement service discovery, autoscaling, and high‑availability strategies for containerized API platforms.
• Administer configuration, upgrades, and scaling of Axway components in production.
• Monitor APIs and infrastructure with Axway Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, and troubleshoot performance, availability, and security issues.
• Integrate API deployment into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) and automate provisioning with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
• Enforce security best practices, conduct audits, vulnerability scanning, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with Axway API Gateway and API Manager (including Amplify).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, TLS, and security protocols.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and managing Axway APIM in Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Git, and infrastructure‑as‑code technologies.
