Assistant Manager Infrastructure Planning

About the role

The Assistant Manager Infrastructure Planning will join a highly creative design team responsible for the civil, structural and MEP design of nationwide data centres, telehouses and major hub sites. You will provide technical governance, vendor oversight and capacity planning for new builds and existing facilities, ensuring compliance with international standards and local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings and civil designs for data centre, telehouse and hub projects.
• Perform and coordinate structural assessments of slabs, beams, columns, foundations, roofs and related elements.
• Analyse assessment reports and recommend strengthening, rehabilitation or rectification measures.
• Evaluate building capacity for rack, equipment, battery, DG/transformer and rooftop loads, both current and future.
• Incorporate earthquake, wind, fire, flood and other disaster‑resilience considerations into designs.
• Develop RFPs, technical specifications, BOQs, scopes of work, tender and contract documents, and SLAs for civil and MEP projects.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in civil, structural and MEP engineering for data centre and telecom infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, local building codes and data centre best practices.
• Experience conducting site surveys, technical assessments and capacity planning.
• Ability to review structural, electrical single‑line, HVAC and fire‑protection reports and propose corrective actions.
• Experience overseeing vendors and managing large‑scale implementation issues.
