Associate Business Developer & Upwork Bidder

About the role

Skylight Codeworks is looking for an Associate Business Developer & Upwork Bidder to drive new client acquisition for its IT and software services. The role focuses on identifying opportunities on Upwork, crafting tailored proposals, and generating leads through LinkedIn and outbound email campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Search for relevant projects on Upwork and submit customized, results‑driven proposals.
• Manage Upwork profile communications, respond to client inquiries, and maintain follow‑up cadence.
• Generate qualified leads via LinkedIn outreach and cold‑email campaigns.
• Research potential clients, understand their requirements, and prepare clear proposals.
• Track activities, report progress regularly, and ensure effective time management.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in Upwork bidding, business development, or IT sales.
• Proven ability to write professional proposals and communicate with international clients in English.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn lead generation and outbound email strategies.
• Basic understanding of IT services such as websites, mobile apps, SaaS, AI and digital solutions.
• Target‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work on‑site in Lahore from 1 PM to 11 PM.

Required skills

• Upwork proposal writing and client communication.
• LinkedIn outreach and cold‑emailing.
• Excellent written English.
• Basic knowledge of software development services.
