Associate Manager – IS Audit Projects

About the role

The Associate Manager – IS Audit Projects will support the audit team in planning, executing, and finalising information systems audit engagements for banking applications. Based in Lahore, the role involves close collaboration with the Team Leader and auditees to ensure audit objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in preparing engagement plans, updating audit check‑lists and selecting test samples.
• Perform audit tests on assigned areas, document findings and draft audit exceptions.
• Expand testing when exception rates exceed risk tolerance and recommend new audit procedures.
• Discuss findings with auditees under supervision and prepare comprehensive audit reports.
• Prepare detailed working papers supported by sufficient audit evidence.
• Support progress reporting, request additional resources when needed, and carry out any ad‑hoc inspections or investigations.

Required profile

• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in Information Systems Audit, Internal Audit or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification with CISA certification, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science with CISA.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, core banking systems and banking operations.
