Audits & Technical Safety Lead

About the role

The Audits & Technical Safety Lead will drive the site’s EHS technical safety agenda, ensuring compliance with process safety standards, risk management, and audit programs. This role partners with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver safe‑work practices and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical and process safety program, overseeing MESS, HPR, GEHSMS, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate and execute internal audits, inspections, and external audit support to achieve 100% compliance.
• Facilitate HAZOP and other process safety studies, ensuring timely closure of action items.
• Analyze incident and near‑miss data quarterly, develop action plans, and drive risk mitigation.
• Manage emergency response training, drills, and site preparedness activities.
• Maintain EHS records, ensure data integrity in myEHS modules, and support investigations.
• Lead shift EHS resources to meet KPIs and governance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in EHS, technical safety, or process safety roles.
• Proven ability to plan schedules, motivate teams, and conduct analytical deep‑dives.

Required skills

• Knowledge of MESS (Management of Engineering Safety Standards).
• Experience with HAZOP studies and process safety analysis.
• Familiarity with GEHSMS (General EHS Management System).
