AWS Engineer - Cloud (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high‑traffic applications. This remote contract position focuses on optimizing AWS services for performance, cost efficiency, and security while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain AWS resources such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Monitor system health and performance with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third‑party tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security configurations.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for team knowledge sharing and compliance.

Required profile

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
