Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join Joblogic’s Automations and Integrations team. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing backend applications and Azure resources rather than new feature development. You will work with Python.NET, Azure Function Apps, SQL, Redis and Docker to keep our systems reliable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support Python‑based applications running on Azure Function Apps.
• Manage .NET micro‑services, integrate them with existing platforms, and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor, tune and optimise Azure resources including Function Apps, SQL databases, VMs, networking, container registries and Redis.
• Investigate and resolve bugs in applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Apply caching strategies, traffic monitoring and load‑balancing to improve performance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and ensure cost‑efficient scaling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to guarantee seamless operation and integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining .NET micro‑services and Azure cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, with a focus on continuous learning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
