Business Developer (Upwork Focus)

About the role

Kodbase is a fast‑growing digital studio looking for a Business Developer to win new clients on Upwork from our Lahore base. You will identify suitable projects, craft personalized proposals and act as the first point of contact for potential customers.

Key responsibilities

• Search Upwork daily for projects that match Kodbase’s services (websites, web apps, mobile apps, CMS, cloud/DevOps, SEO, UI/UX, SaaS, AI/LLM).
• Write clear, tailored proposals that highlight the most relevant capabilities.
• Submit bids with the appropriate number of connects, timing and pricing, following leadership guidance.
• Follow up promptly on client messages, keep trackers updated and flag high‑potential opportunities.
• Gather scope details and coordinate with the delivery team before discovery calls.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience bidding on Upwork or similar freelance platforms (personal or agency profile).
• Based in Lahore or able to work hybrid from the Lahore office on a regular schedule.
• Excellent written English, as proposals are the core output.
• Ability to recognise project types across web, mobile, design, CMS, cloud, SEO, SaaS or AI at a high level.
• Highly organized, reliable and consistent in maintaining a daily bidding rhythm.
