Business Intelligence Consultant – Remote (Excel)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant to design, develop, and maintain Excel‑based dashboards and reports for a global technology leader. The contract role is fully remote and focuses on turning business requirements into functional, data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design interactive Excel dashboards using pivot tables, charts, slicers, and advanced formulas for executive reporting.
• Develop automated workflows with macros and VBA to streamline data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Excel models and reports.
• Provide training and support to end‑users on Excel tools and functionalities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret business data and deliver actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality, error‑free deliverables.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, SUMIFS), pivot tables, and data validation.
• Experience creating macros and writing VBA code for automation.
• Familiarity with data sources such as SQL databases, CSV files, or ERP systems.
