Business Intelligence Consultant – Remote (Excel)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant to work remotely on a contract basis. The focus is on designing, developing, and maintaining Excel‑based dashboards and reports that enable data‑driven decision‑making for a global technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build interactive Excel dashboards using pivot tables, charts, and slicers for executive reporting.
• Develop automated Excel workflows with macros and VBA for data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business reporting requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Excel models and reports.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end‑users on Excel tools and functionalities.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, SUMIFS), pivot tables, and data validation.
• Experience creating macros and VBA scripts for automation and custom functions.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret business data and deliver actionable insights.
• Familiarity with data sources such as SQL databases, CSV files, or ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
